FORT GIBSON 19, STIGLER 0
— Playing at Fort Gibson, the Tigers (7-1) erupted for 15 first-inning runs in beating the Panthers Monday. The Tigers sent 21 batters to the plate in that inning. Taylor Richey led the hit barrage with three including a double and his second home run of the season. Cale Parnell and Grant Mitchesson each had two hits, while Parnell drove in two runs and Mitchesson had two doubles. Fort Gibson plays at Muskogee at 5 p.m. today.

KEYS 10, VIAN 2 — Jake Fisher struck out 11 batters and scattered four hits as the Cougars remain unbeaten at 13-0 after knocking off the Wolverines in Park Hill. Fisher is 3-0. Jesse Billing led Keys’ hitting attack with two hits and his second home run of the season. Ryan Bridges and Chance Ross each added three hits, including a double apiece. Keys now plays host to a three-way today, facing Hulbert at 3 p.m. and Sallisaw Central at 4:30 p.m.

OKTAHA 10, SALLISAW CENTRAL 7 — At Oktaha, winning pitcher Cale Elam (3-0) struck out eight batters and gave up three hits and four earned runs as the Tigers improved to 8-1. Steven Downum had a solo home run and Shane Leach had two RBIs. Oktaha scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. Oktaha plays at Stigler in a three-way with Eufaula, starting at 4 p.m.

TAHLEQUAH 3, CLAREMORE 2 — At Tahlequah, Dusten Knight improved to 3-0 as he struck out 10 batters and scattered five hits in leading the Tigers (5-3) to the win. Robert Lamons had two hits and drove in a run, while Chase Goodnight also drove in a run. Knight and Greg Jackson each had hits. Tahlequah plays in the Pryor Tournament at 5 p.m. on Wednesday against Checotah.

HASKELL 9, KELLYVILLE 2 — Justin Britton rapped three hits including a triple and drove in two runs as the Haymakers (4-5) toppled Kellyville. Robert Draper and Noah Polk each added two hits. Styles Burris had a two-run double as Tyler Harper (2-2) was the winning pitcher. Haskell plays host to Okay at 4:30 p.m. today.

GORE 14, PORUM 0— Nick Humphrey tossed his second no-hitter of the season in blanking the Panthers at Porum. Humphrey (2-0) struck out 12 batters and walked three in six innings of work. Devin Rineheart had three hits, scored three times and drove in four runs. Travis Burns had two runs and scored twice, while Damon Sheffield had two hits, scored twice and drove in two more runs. Gore plays at Wagoner at 4 p.m. today, while Porum plays host to Schulter at 4:30 p.m.

OKAY WINS TWO — At Okay, Corey Smith struck out five batters and pitched a one-hitter in an 8-0 win over Hulbert, while teammate Jordan Sloat struck out three and gave up just two hits in the 13-0 win over Braggs. Will Miller hit his fourth home run of the season — a three-run blast — in the win over Braggs. Jacob Drain had three hits in the two games.

Softball
TAHLEQUAH 9, JAY 0 — Erica Sampson had three hits and Jessica Patrick picked up the pitching win to improve to 4-1 as the Lady Tigers (5-1) blanked Jay. Shelbi Bowin and Krystal Herrin added two hits each as Tahlequah plays at Sequoyah at 4 p.m. today.

HASKELL 10, COWETA 0 — Sisters Savannah and Amber Moats combined for five hits and three RBIs as the Lady Haymakers remain unbeaten for the season after 10 games. Savannah had three hits and two RBIs in the win over Coweta and Amber added two hits and an RBI. Vanessa Harris (3-0) was the winning pitcher.

WARNER WINS TWO — The Lady Eagles pounded out 28 hits in beating the Muskogee junior varsity 13-2 and 14-3 in Warner. For the twinbill, Sheena Bullard led Warner with five hits and four runs scored. Kaitlyn Teague had four hits, two RBIs and three runs scored. Sarah Smithson had four RBIs and scored four runs to go with her two hits. Morgan Webb had three hits, three runs and five RBIs. Keena McCoy and Jori McPeak each had three hits, while Chelsea Morris and Macy Carman added two hits each.

GORE SPLITS — Playing at Gore, the Lady Pirates split a three-way by beating Fort Gibson 1-0 and losing 3-1 to Muldrow. Dena Qualls had two hits and Holly Cordray was the winning pitcher in beating the Lady Tigers. Lexy Ward had three hits and Lanie Johnson added two more in the loss to Muldrow. Gore plays host to Keys at 3:45 p.m. today.
