Dale Richardson back in familiar territory
Pure Stock Muskogee’s Darien Austin fought off Boynton’s James Gillean on turn four of the 15th and final lap to take his second feature win of the season. Going through turn three in the final lap of the 15-lap feature, Gillean and Austin rubbed against each other side-by-side. Gillean spun out an Austin held on for the win. Gillean was reportedly later black flagged for rough driving. Muskogee’s Matt Burnett was second and Brandi Levasseur of Chouteau was third. Modified Danny Womack, co-owner of the speedway, won for the first time in seven weeks when he took the checkered flag after the 20-lap feature. It was Womack’s sixth feature win this season. Carl Conley II of Porter was second and Muskogee’s David Whittle, Jr. finished third.
