Published August 26, 2008 11:14 pm - Three state players on Lombardi list HOUSTON (AP) — Oklahoma State tight end Brandon Pettigrew, Oklahoma offensive lineman Duke Robinson and Oklahoma defensive end Auston English are among 113 players on the preseason watch list for the Lombardi Award.
The award is presented annually to college football’s best lineman. Of the 113 players on the watch list, 49 are offensive players and 64 play defense. The watch list will be updated and revised throughout the season and will eventually be narrowed to 12 semifinalists. The award will be presented on Dec. 10 in Houston.
