Sports Calendar: 10-5



The Sports Calendar runs each Sunday and Thursday. Send entries by fax to 684-2865, mail to 214 Wall Street, Muskogee 74401, bring by the Phoenix anytime Monday through Friday or e-mail it to sports@muskogeephoenix.com. Information will not be taken by phone. Items to run in Sunday’s paper must be submitted before noon Friday, and for Thursday’s paper, noon on Tuesday.

Basketball
TOURNAMENTS
• MAYB Tournaments, grades 3-12 boys and girls. Various locations regionally and nationwide. Contact: 316-284-0354 or mayb@mayb.com.
OFFICIALS
• Muskogee Area Basketball Officials will meet Tuesdays beginning Sept. 30 at the Muskogee Central fire station training room at 505 Columbus Ave. All coaches, basketball officials and anyone else interested in becoming an official are encouraged to attend. Football
TOURNAMENTS
• Muskogee Young Professionals, a committee of the Muskogee Chamber of Commerce is hosting an area wide youth football tournament Nov. 9-16 at Love-Hatbox Sports Complex for teams in grades 3-6, hand-selected rosters with a minimum of 15 players.
