Muskogee grad has reason for excitement By Kenton BrooksPhoenix Sports Writer Burton has plenty of reason to be happy these days. The defense is playing better than ever, the Cowboys are ranked in the Top 10 in the country and they are 7-0 for just the second time in school history and first time since the 1945 season.
All of that brings a big grin to his face. “I’m not one to get all excited but I’m excited about what we’re doing right now,” Burton said.
