Princely performance nets weekly honor Condict is glad to have McJunkins on his team that’s ranked No. 7 in last week’s Associated Press poll.
“We’re fortunate to have him,” the Wagoner coach said. “Not only is he doing well for us, but he’s very popular and well-liked in school. It’s worked out great.” The Bulldogs hope things continue to work out as McJunkins, Jr. will lead his team in a crucial District 4A-4 matchup for second place this Friday at home against Sallisaw. Both are 4-1 and a game behind leader and Broken Bow with two weeks left in the regular season. “To me, it’s going to be a shootout,” McJunkins, Jr. said. “They have really good athletes, but we have really good athletes. It’s going to come down to the wire.”
