FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Quarterback Casey Dick will start Saturday for Arkansas against No. 13 Tennessee, replacing freshman Mitch Mustain.

The No. 11 Razorbacks beat South Carolina 26-20 last week with Dick relieving Mustain, who threw an interception on Arkansas’ first series.

Dick went 11-of-19 for 228 yards with a touchdown and one interception.

“It’s one word; it’s experience,” coach Houston Nutt said Sunday. “That’s all it is. Both these guys will continue to get reps. We will go with Casey as a starter (against Tennessee) but we need both of them.”

Dick started the last four games of 2005 as a freshman, but he was slowed by injury problems at the start of this season. Robert Johnson started Arkansas’ opener, a 50-14 loss to Southern California, and Mustain took over after that game.

Mustain, a high school star in Springdale, Ark., is 8-0 as a starter after the win over South Carolina. But his inexperience has shown at times.

Darren McFadden was hurt when tackled from behind against South Carolina, but Nutt said Sunday the running back “looked good.”

Nutt said McFadden’s injury “is basically to the top of the ankle towards the shin. He kind of got his foot caught.”

McFadden is averaging 115.3 yards rushing per game, tops in the Southeastern Conference. He ran for a career-high 219 yards against the Gamecocks, including two touchdowns.
