Calendar

The outdoor calendar runs every Friday. Items should be submitted by fax 684-2865, e-mail at sports@muskogeephoenix.com or submitted in writing to the Phoenix at 214 Wall Street during business hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Items must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. Wednesday for inclusion in the next calendar.

Crow — Oct. 10 to Nov. 16 and Dec. 9 to March 4.

Rabbit — Cottontail and swamp, Oct. 1-March 15; Jackrabbit Oct. 1-March 15 west of Interstate 35 only.

Wild turkey — Gun, Nov. 1-21, select counties; Archery, Oct. 1- Jan. 15; spring 2009, April 6-May 6 and youth 2009, April 4-5.
