Send entries by fax to 684-2865, mail to 214 Wall Street, Muskogee 74401, bring by the Phoenix anytime Monday through Friday or e-mail it to sports@muskogeephoenix.com. Information will not be taken by phone. Items to run in Sunday’s paper must be submitted before noon Friday, and for Thursday’s paper, noon on Tuesday.
Basketball CAMPS • Bill Muse’s Winter Cowboy Shooting and Offensive Skills camp at Connors State College for boys and girls ages 8-14, Dec. 13-14. Register by Dec. 1 to receive a free basketball. For a brochure and more information, call 463-6231. NEEDED • Certified officials and volunteer coaches needed for Muskogee Parks and Recreation Youth Basketball League, grades 1-6. TOURNAMENTS • Youth basketball tournament for boys and girls grades 2-4 at Fort Gibson’s gym Dec. 5-7. Entry fee is $125 and each team is guaranteed three games. Football EVENTS • Sooner Spectator Magazine, Sooner Legends Inn & Suites and The Apothem present “Tailgating with The Boz,” 7:30-9:30 p.m. Nov. 21 at Sooner Legends Inn & Suites in Norman.
