OSU notepad

Finding a kicking replacement

One of the biggest needs for OSU this next season will be at the kicker and punter position since the graduation of Quinn Sharp — who held both spots for the past two years, and was the punter the year before that.

Kip Smith had three punts averaging 42.7 yards for the White squad. Michael Reichenstein averaged 36 yards on two punts for the Orange team before booting a 56-yard punt in the second half. He finished with an average of 41.6 yards on five tries.

Bobby Stonebreaker kicked a line drive wide left on a 25-yard field goal attempt on the first drive for the Orange. Stonebreaker snuck in a 30-yard field goal attempt in the first drive of the second half.
