After playing the Lady Rams close for a half, the Lady Warriors went into the ice box in the second half scoring just 17 points in the losing effort.
With Texas Wesleyan (13-3, 9-1) leading 31-29 starting the second half, the Lady Rams ran off a 13-5 streak to jump out to a 44-34 lead which they slowly increased over the balance of the half. Bacone (3-9, 2-6) was just seven of 35 from the field in the second half (20 percent) and none for five at the charity line to seal their fate. They also gave away 21 points off turnovers to the visitors.
Sophomore Kayla Denton was only Lady Warrior to crack double figures with 13 points including 3-of-8 from beyond the arc. Kasyla Fields and Toeisha Cooper shared scoring honors for the Lady Rams with 18 points each.
