College softball


OSU SUSPENDED —  After an hour and five minute rain delay, the Oklahoma State softball game against Texas Tech was called in the bottom of the eighth inning due to rain with the score tied at 1-1. Resumption of the delayed game will begin Saturday morning at 11 a.m., and the series finale, originally scheduled for noon Saturday, will begin 30 minutes following the conclusion of the earlier game.

ARKANSAS 5, GEORGIA 2 —   Arkansas (23-13) was led by three home runs in the game at Fayetteville, Ark. Devon Wallace and Chloe Oprzedek each hit two-run blasts and Jayme Gee had a solo-shot in the fourth inning. Wallace finished the game 3-for-3 and also scored a run. Oprzedek finished her day 2-for-3 at the plate.

UCF  at Tulsa, 11  a.m.

Texas Tech at OSU, 11 a.m. completion of suspended game, originally scheduled game to follow 30 minutes after completion

Southwest Baptist at NSU (2), noon

Georgia at Arkansas   (2), 1 p.m.
