OKLAHOMA 14, NEW ORLEANS 5 — Max White slugged his third home run of the season among his four hits as the Sooners (30-10) had 19 hits, including nine for extra bases. Six of the hits were doubles and Colt Bickerstaff also homered. Dillon Overton (8-2) scattered seven hits as OU won for the second straight game and UNO dropped to 6-35.

OSU 7, KANSAS STATE 6 – Zach Fish’s solo home run with two outs in the eighth tied the game at 6-6, and three batters later, Saulyer Saxon delivered a single that brought home what proved to be the winning run for OSU (27-10, 7-6 Big 12).

CONNORS 8, EASTERN 5 — Yariel Gonzalez’s two-run home run, his eighth of the year, broke a 5-5 tie in the seventh and Korey Keith hit a solo shot in the ninth, his seventh, for the Cowboys (38-5, 9-2). Phil Diedrick also homered for Connors. Colton Strother pitched 3 1/3 innings, allowing just one hit, while striking out three for the win. Eastern is 23-20 and 6-5 going into today’s 1 p.m. game.

LSU-SHREVEPORT 2-6, BACONE 1-0 – The Warriors (34-13, 20-5 Red River Athletic Conference) stranded 18 runners on base in the doubleheader at Warrior Field on Saturday. Adam Huizar (7-2) got the loss in the opener while Alen Rimer (3-2) suffered the defeat in the nightcap.

NSU 5-12, NEBRASKA-KEARNEY 12-11 — Kegan Knight had four hits and drove in three runs as NSU (24-19, 22-18) won the second game of the MIAA doubleheader with Kearney (20-21, 17-18) at Rousey Field, gaining a split in the twinbill. Cody Robinson hit his 16th home run, while David Weber had two hits and and two RBIs. Craig George (6-3) was the winning pitcher.

In the opener, Jordan Dallalio homered while Knight and Robinson each had two hits. Preston Cash also homered and Kyle Shambaugh (3-2) was the losing pitcher.

ARKANSAS 12, TEXAS A&M 2 — Arkansas’ Jordan Farris went 3-for-5 with a homer and five RBI, while Ryne Stanek struck out a season-high nine at Fayetteville, Ark.

ORU 7, SAM HOUSTON STATE 2 — The Golden Eagles (13-23, 8-6 Southland)  moved into a tie for fourth in the conference with the Bearkats as they fell to 8-6 in conference action and 22-17 overall. ORU, SHSU and Lamar are within a game of first place.
