BACONE 62, HUSTON-TILLOTSON 60 – The Bacone Lady Warriors ended a two-game losing streak by defeating the Huston-Tillotson Lady Rams 62-60 on Saturday.

With the victory, Bacone moves to 4-8 overall and 3-5 in conference play.

Ashley Jenkins paced the Lady Warriors with a season-high 20 points and Danielle Reed finished with 11; Kyna Lewis led all rebounders with 15 for Bacone.

The RiverHawks (9-5, 4-2 MIAA) committed a season-low six turnovers and earned their first league road win. The Bearcats (6-8, 1-5 MIAA) dropped their fourth-straight contest.

Senior guard Taylor Lewis led the RiverHawks with 18 points and sophomore guard Fontana Tate tied her career high with 13 of her own.

OU 65, TEXAS TECH 55 – Aaryn Ellenberg scored 26 points, including Oklahoma’s last 13, as the No. 16 Sooners held off Texas Tech for a 65-55 victory on Saturday night.

Oklahoma (14-2, 4-0 Big 12) led 52-48 with 4:48 remaining when Ellenberg hit a 3-pointer, jumper and 3-pointer on consecutive possessions to thwart a comeback attempt by the Red Raiders (12-4, 2-2). She protected the lead by going 5 for 6 from the free-throw line in the final 1:32.

Joanna McFarland added 14 points and 16 rebounds and Nicole Griffin 13 points for the Sooners.

Chynna Brown and Casey Morris scored 11 points apiece for Texas Tech.

ORAL ROBERTS 63, S.F. AUSTIN 56 – Christian Key scored a career-high 20 points and Jaci Bigham tallied her third double-double of the season as Oral Roberts University overcame a slow start to top Stephen F. Austin, 63-56, on Saturday.

The win gives ORU (6-8, 3-1 Southland Conference) a two-game winning streak for the first time since early November.

Key went 6-for-12 from three-point range in her first career 20-point night. Bigham added 17 points and 10 assists, topping the 10-assist mark for the fourth straight game.
