NORTHEASTERN WINS TWO —  NSU (10-6) beat Bethany 12-4 and William Woods 5-4 to stretch its win streak to eight games. Saharra Henson finished 3-for-4 with three runs and three RBIs. Madison Reed and Alyssa Aguilar each posted two hits and Madison Boyd and Allyson Pogue each added two RBIs.Alex Files (2-1) scattered eight hits. In the second game, NSU rallied from a 4-0 deficit with a four-run third and Pogue’s fifth-inning single drove in the go-ahead run. Kayce Wooldridge (4-2) allowed five hits and struck out eight.

OKLAHOMA SPLITS — OU (13-6) rallied for a 5-4 win then fell to Nebraska 7-2 for a split in Norman. Callie Parsons’ single in the seventh accounted for the game-winning run and a rally from a 3-0 deficit for its first win over a ranked opponent this year. The second-game loss ended a 16-game OU home win streak.

TULSA 9, NORTHWESTERN (LA.) 0 — Bailey Erwin’s one-hitter and Jill Barrett’s 3-for-3 performance at the plate lifted TU (16-2). Tahlequah ex Erica Sampson was hit by a pitch twice and scored twice.

CONNORS NOW 12-0 — Kristen Reasnor and Taylor Canida scattered eight hits and three hits, respectively, in 10-2 and 4-0 wins over visiting Coffeyville (Kan.) as the Cowgirls remain perfect in 2014. Hilldale ex Kali Romine hit a pair of home runs in the opener, giving her three for the season, and Chelsie Drew of Vian hit a two-run double. Taylor Purdue hit a two-run shot in game two, her third home run of the year.

BACONE SPLITS – The Lady Warriors broke a 2-2 tie with two runs in the fifth inning, then held on to beat Friends University 4-3 after falling to Central Methodist 7-0 in their first game on Saturday.

Lucy Walter was the heroine of the second game as her two-out double to center brought home Kelsey Lamb and Tiana Gutierrez with the go-ahead runs.
