MUSKOGEE 8, NORTH CANYON (Ariz.) 6 – The Roughers made the most of seven hits in the victory over North Canyon (Ariz.) at the Coach Bob Invitational in Phoenix, Ariz., on Tuesday.

The Roughers scored three runs in the first inning and never trailed.

Taylor Duncan was the only Rougher to have a multi-hit game as he went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

WAGONER IMPROVES TO 3-0 AT TOURNEY – After beating Coalgate 14-3 Monday with Brett Butler picking up the win, the Bulldogs continued to roll through the competition at the Southeast Shootout on Tuesday. Wagoner defeated Talihina 14-3 with Wyat Grooms getting the win and Joey Charboneau providing seven RBIs including a grand slam. Wagoner then went on to beat Idabel 4-2 with Preston Whitten earning the victory and Tyler Milligan with the save. The Bulldogs (6-2) will play Broken Bow in the Southeast Shootout Championship at 6 p.m. today.

CHOUTEAU 10, GORE 0 – The Pirates weren’t able to get anything going and were shut out at home. Dakota Charney was the losing pitcher for Gore. Gore (1-5) will play at Vian today.

MIDWAY DROPS TWO – The Chargers lost 15-5 to Convington-Douglas in the first game and lost 12-0 to Shidler in the second game in a three-way at Shidler. Kacee Scruggs was the losing pitcher against Covington-Douglas, and Sean Bispo was the losing pitcher against Shidler. Midway (0-4) will look to learn from their tough start as they prepare for the Okay Tournament on March 25.
