OKLAHOMA STATE 6, WICHITA STATE 5 (12) — At Stillwater, Zach Fish’s one-out double to right center plated Tanner Krietemeier with the winning run in the 12th for Oklahoma State (28-11).

Fish, whose infield single in the eighth tied it at 5, was 2-for-6 on the night and Krietemeier was 3-for-5. They along with Saulyer Saxon were the Cowboys’ only multi-hit batters. They wound up with 11 hits to 10 for the Shockers (23-19).

Brendan McCurry (4-2) threw 5 1/3 innings allowing two hits, one walk and struck out three for the win.

Oktaha grad Cale Elam did not see action for the Shockers.

RIVERHAWK GETS HONOR — NSU’s Preston Cash was selected as the MIAA’s Hitter of the Week on Tuesday. Cash led NSU in batting average (.571), doubles (4), triples (1), home runs (2), and runs batted in (10) this past week.
