WESTMOORE 8, MUSKOGEE 0 – The Roughers suffered their first defeat of the season to the Jaguars.

Tyler Bowden (0-1) got the start for Muskogee (1-1) and took the loss.

CHECOTAH GRABS TWO – The Checotah Wildcats downed the Wagoner Bulldogs 7-4 and Claremore Sequoyah 12-1 in the three-way festival in Wagoner on Saturday.

In the win over Wagoner, Kameron Elrick got the victory while Caleb Knight earned the save as the duo combined for 13 strikeouts. Wyatt Hatridge led the way going 2-for-4 with one run batted in.

Hatridge started the second game on teh mound and go tthe win, tossing a complete game with seven strikeouts.Tyler Addy, Cade Christian and Andrew Fands all went 2-for-3 with Addy and Christian scoring twice and Fands once.

Powerlifting

HORNET IS FIRST — Hilldale High School’s Wesley Wiseman took first place in the 132-pound division to lead the Hornets to a second-place team finish with 99 points at the regional powerlifting meet at Cleveland High School on Friday.

Kaden Weaver (132) and Josh Giem (220) placed second, while Justin Sanders (198), Blake Lyons (275) and Trandon Boylan (Heavyweight) were third, Garrett Ford (181) took fourth and Jamaul Cullom (181) was fifth.
