OSU 6, KANSAS 3 – Oklahoma State used the long ball to rally from an early 2-run deficit and beat Kansas to sweep of its weekend series in Stillwater.

Kansas scored twice in the second inning on a two-run homer by Tucker Tharp for the early lead before OSU scored three times in the bottom of the second on a three-run homer by Tim Arakawa and twice more in the fourth on a two-run shot by Dustin Williams on the way to the win in Sunday’s game.

OSU improves to 29-11 on the season and 11-4 in the Big 12 while Kansas falls to 23-19 overall and 6-9 in conference play.

ARKANSAS 3, VANDERBILT 1 – Arkansas scored early and got strong pitching to hold off Vanderbilt in Southeastern Conference college baseball.

The Razorbacks scored once in the first inning of Sunday’s game in Fayetteville on a bases loaded walk and added two runs in the fifth. Razorbacks’ starter Chris Oliver gave up one run on six hits in 6.2 innings and gets the win to improve to 5-3 on the season.

Vanderbilt’s Brian Reynolds homered in the seventh inning off Oliver for the Commodores’ only run.

UA improves to 25-16 overall and 9-9 in SEC play while Vanderbilt falls to 29-12 on the season and 8-10 in the conference.


ARKANSAS 8, KENTUCKY 0 – The Razorbacks closed out itss weekend road trip with a win over Kentucky in Sunday’s series finale.

Grace Moll pitched a complete-game shutout to collect her 10th win of the season while Kasey Fagan sparked the offense with six RBI. The Razorbacks improve to 26-22 overall and 4-14 in SEC play with the program’s 30th all-time win against the Wildcats.
