OSU recruit asks
for release from LOI
Jared Terrell, a senior at Brewster Academy in New Hampshire who signed a National Letter of Intent with Oklahoma State basketball last November, has requested and been granted a release from his LOI due to unforeseen circumstances in regards to his family, head coach Travis Ford announced Friday.
Terrell, a 6-foot-3 guard originally from Weymouth, Mass., was one of six future Cowboys who has signed with OSU.
The departure comes one day after 7-1 juco transfer Anthony Allen signed with OSU over Memphis and Oklahoma. Allenset a Lamar State (Texas) record with 191 blocks.
