Class 6A

STILLWATER — Muskogee sits in 12th place in the 12-team field with 678 after the first two rounds. The Roughers shot 348 in the first round and improved in the second round with a 330.

The Muskogee scores include Harris Jones (78-78—156), Spencer Smythe (87-79—166) Connor Scott (89-83—172), Tanner Felts (99-90—189) and Austin Jones (94-97—191).

Class 5A

TULSA — Tahlequah’s Jake Johnson shot rounds of 1-over par 71 and 5-over 75 for a total of 146 Monday and sits in second place in the individual standings at the Class 5A high school golf tournament at the Tulsa Country Club.

Johnson, a junior, is four strokes behind leader Chris Karlovich of Tulsa Bishop Kelley. Johnson shot 71 and 71 in his two rounds.

Johnson had seven birdies in his two round, five in the first 18 and two more in the second 18.

As a team, the Tigers are fourth with 637. Bishop Kelley leads with a 608. Edmond Deer Creek (630) and Oklahoma City Bishop McGuinness (631) are second and third in the team standings.

The rest of the Tahlequah scores include Hunter Pennington in a four-way tie for sixth place (78-76—154), Blake Berry (84-85–169), Brandt Emerson (89-82—171) and Brent Spradlin (86-89—175).

Class 4A

OKLAHOMA CITY — Fort Gibson’s Wesley Jackson is in second place and Hilldale’s Chandler Puckett is fifth in the individual standings at the Class 4A state tourney at Lake Hefner North course.

Jackson shot a 2-under par 70 and a 6-under 66 in his two rounds for a total of 136. He’s two strokes behind Weatherford’s Quade Cummins (67-67—134).

Meanwhile, Puckett shot an even-par 72 and 3-under 69 for a total of 141, seven strokes behind Cummins.

In the team standings, Fort Gibson is in seventh place (316-294—610) and Hilldale is 11th (316-303—619).

The rest of the Fort Gibson scores include Dalton Rhoden (79-73—152), Collin Abdallah (84-77—161), Rayne Cox (83-78—161) and Jake Gandara (88-83—171).

The remaining Hilldale scores include Eli Lawley (76-77—153), Brent LaCrone (79-78—157), Tanner Ingle (89-79—168) and Chandler Cotner (89-87—176).
