Team sorting starts at Hillbilly Ranch

A Benefit Youth Rodeo and Auction for Amanda Brown will be held Saturday at the Bridle Creek Arena in Sperry. Barrels, poles and goats are the timed events and rough stock events are sheep, calf riding, junior and senior bulls, and ranch bronc riding. Age Groups are the same as NJRA. A $500-added money benefit 5D barrel race and ppen breakaway will be held Sunday at the Skiatook Round Up Club Arena. Exhibitions at 10:30 a.m., youth 1 p.m., ppen to follow. 3D Youth race (14-and-under, full-second splits) entry fee is $25, open (half-second splits) entry fee is $40. Live auction 4 p.m., donations accepted the day of the event. Third Annual Race to the Finish Line Barrel Race will be held by the Green Country Cowboy Church Sunday in Poteau. Exhibitions 8:45-11 a.m., church service 11 a.m., 14-and-under race at noon with open to follow. Added money of $100 for the youth race which costs $15 to enter and the open has $1,200 added money with a $30 entry fee plus a $5 processing fee per rider. Contact Paula Mercer. Oklahoma Cowgirls Association is having a barrel race at the Coweta Round Up Club  on Saturday. Exhibitions at noon and race at 2 p.m. Juniors (12-and-under, 2D with one-second splits) for $15, open (4D with half-, half-, whole-second splits) for $25.
