THUNDER PREVIEW: OKC’s core of Durant, Westbrook set sights on taking final step to title


Thunder beat Mavs in final tune-up

Kevin Durant scored 18 points and James Harden added 16 to lead Oklahoma City to an 88-66 preseason finale victory over the Dallas Mavericks in Wichita, Kan., on Wednesday night.

Serge Ibaka scored all 15 of his points in the first half for the Thunder. The Mavericks, playing without Dirk Nowitzki, Shawn Marion and Vince Carter, were led by Jae Crowder’s 21 points and nine rebounds. Brandan Wright added 11 points.
