OSU 12, SIENA 0 — Playing in Albuquerque, N.M., sophomore Gessenia DeLaCruz had the big hit with a three-run home run to left field to put OSU up 7-0 as the Cowgirls (22-13) won by the run rule in five innings to finish perfect for the weekend in New Mexico.

Junior Simone Freeman (10-7) was the winning pitcher, allowed just one hit in five innings and struck out five.

OU 9-1, LOUISVILLE 1-5 – The No. 1-ranked Sooners overcame the first game loss with a six-run fifth inning to beat the Cardinals by the run rule in the second game of the doubleheader at Norman. Jessica Vest had two hits with an RBI double and a run scored, while Brianna Turang had a three-run homer in the fifth. Michelle Cascoigne (12-1) was the wining pitcher.

In the first game, Keilani Ricketts (14-1) was the losing pitcher as OU had its 10-game winning streak snapped by the Cardinals. Ricketts homered in the seventh for the Sooners’ lone run.

UNLV 10, TULSA 6 —  Haley Henshaw went 2-for-4 with two RBI and Samantha Cobb and Shelby Blanton each scored twice, but the 18th-ranked Tulsa softball team fell at UNLV in the Rebel Classic at Eller Media Stadium.

The defeat ended a 12-game winning streak for the Golden Hurricane (25-6). The Hurricane scored six runs on 10 hits, with a pair of errors, and picked up five of its runs in the fifth and sixth innings. The Rebels (14-18) scored 10 runs on 11 hits and committed two errors.

FLORIDA 1, ARKANSAS 0 – Kelsey Horton laced a two-out home run in the bottom of the seventh to lead No. 3 Florida past Arkansas on Saturday.

Stephanie Canfield, Bronkey and Jayme Gee connected for Arkansas’ three hits on the night. Chelsea Cohen (10-6) took the loss for the Razorbacks (21-13, 0-6 SEC), giving up five hits while striking out four.

NSU at Nebraska-Kearney was canceled.
