EUFAULA 12, KELLYVILLE 6 — The Ironheads (7-3) downed Kellyville as Trey Moore (2-2) went the distance, allowing six hits while striking out 10. Moore was 3-for-4 and Ronnie Hallum 4-for-5.

WARNER 7, CENTRAL 5 — Levi Jones pitched the Eagles (14-2) to a win over Sallisaw Central. Jones (6-0) struck out eight and gave up five runs. Cody Coffman had a single and an RBI and Justin Wright had a double with two RBIs.

COWETA 6, TAHLEQUAH 5, 8 INNINGS — Tahlequah (6-9, 3-4 5A-3) committed six errors, spoiling a solid pitching performance from Stephen Wheeler.

Wheeler threw all eight innings and struck out eight, allowing just six hits. The right-hander, however, couldn't overcome numerous defensive lapses, including an eighth-inning error that would eventually turn into the game-winning run.

Tahlequah was down to its final strike in the seventh before Jordan Blalock slapped an RBI single to right to tie the game. Wheeler scored twice on the day, including on a solo home run in the second inning.

BRAGGS 14, OKAY 6 — Braggs improved to 7-6 after they defeated Okay. The winning pitcher was Colton Hardesty who evens out his record to 1-1 for the season.

BIXBY 3, MUSKOGEE 2 —The Roughers (8-8, 1-5) fell short to the Bixby Spartans in Tuesday’s game against the Spartans (10-6, 6-4). Ethan Barton (1-3) was the losing pitcher. Dakota Morris was 1-for-4 with an RBI and Tyler Bowden  was 1-for-3 with an RBI.


WARNER 12, STIGLER 0 —  Kristen Lane homered twice for the Lady Eagles (7-1), giving her four for the season. One was a solo shot, the other a two-run blast. Also among Warner’s 15 hits were two by Raven Girty in a 2-for-3 day, including a solo home run, her second of the season. Brook Moses also hit her first home run of the year. Stigler had three hits.

CHECOTAH 15, EUFAULA 9 — Samantha Henin, Hannah Hagler and Raegan Burge all homered for the Lady Wildcats (1-1). Burge was 4-for-5 on the day and Henin and Hagler each had two hits. The winning pitcher was Kelsey Casey who improves to 1-1.

BRAGGS 9, GANS 8 — Hannah Mackey’s walkoff bases-loaded double capped a two-run seventh-inning comeback for the Lady Wildcats (12-2). Mackey was 3-for-4 with four RBIs, including a solo shot to lead off the game. Maria  Larchey was 2-for-4 with an RBI and Maggie Swarthout hit her first career home run, a solo shot. Braggs survived stranding 11 baserunners.

TAHLEQUAH 9-8, POTEAU 5-7 — Tahlequah Lady Tigers (6-0) won their double-header against Poteau behind the strong bats of Brittney Johnson and Marissa Girdner.

Brittney Johnson and Marisa Girdner were both 5-for-8 as the No. 6 Lady Tigers (6-0) took down No. 10 Poteau.. Erin Dillard raised her pitching record to 6-0 with the wins.



PORTER 1, HEAVENER 0  — The Lady Pirates (1-3-1) won behind Kassadee Merrill’s penalty kick with 13 minutes left in the first half. Kelci Riley was on goal for Porter and she had five saves. The Lady Pirates play Thursday at Stilwell in the Stillwell tournament.


MUSKOGEE PAIR THIRD AT CLAREMORE — Shan Bradley and Stephen Crank were third in No. 1 doubles and Ryan Pierce and Seth Chapuis were fifth in No. 2 doubles as the Roughers competed without a full team due to academic reasons.
