NORTHWOOD 9, BACONE 5 — A five-run rally by the Northwood Lady Knights in the seventh inning cost Bacone (9-15, 8-14), which had rallied from a 4-1 deficit in the sixth to lead by one.

Krissy Froelich’s single and Lucy Walter’s double accounted for a run each and Jeri Paulson’s RBI groundout tied matters before Keri Schmidt’s sacrifice fly made it a 5-4 contest.

Bacone hosts Our Lady of the Lake for three games starting Friday.
