PRYOR 7, FORT GIBSON 2 – Five hits and two runs proved not enough for Fort Gibson as the Tigers lost on the road to begin their season. Dylan Nuckolls was the losing pitcher. Fort Gibson (0-1) will host Wagoner today.

EUFAULA 5, HENRYETTA 3  – The Ironheads start their season off right with a win at home. Bailey Breedlove  was 2-for-3 with a three-run homer, and Ronnie Hallum who was 2-for-2 from the plate. Trey Moore pitched a complete game, giving up seven hits and recording a staggering 16 strikeouts. Eufaula (1-0) hosts Okmulgee today.

BEGGS 14, WARNER 1 – The Eagles were overwhelmed at home. Warner (0-2) will look to bounce back when they host Webbers Falls today.

OOLOGAH 7, HILLDALE 2 – Errors plagued the Hornets in their season opener against Oologah. Derek Altman was 2-for-3 with an RBI, and Cameron Orman was 1-for-3 with a double for Hilldale. Derek Altman pitched three innings, giving up five unearned runs on four Hornet errors. Hilldale (0-1) will host Sallisaw today.

OKTAHA 6, HASKELL 1 – Dakota Berry was 2-for-2 with two RBIs, and Zack Evans was 1-for-3 with two RBIs and two scored runs for Oktaha as the Tigers pick up their first win of the season on the road against Haskell. Daceauda Davis was the winning pitcher, recording 12 strikeouts. Dylan Dobbins was the losing pitcher for Haskell. Oktaha (1-1) will play at Wister today. Haskell (0-1) will host Checotah today.

CHECOTAH 2, ROLAND 1 – Although a tight game throughout, an error by Roland gave Checotah the lead and the win. Checotah’s pitching came up big with Caleb Knight going six innings, giving up only one run and recording 10 strikeouts, and Wyatt Hatridge who closed out the game without giving up any runs. Checotah (3-1) will play at Haskell today.

TAHLEQUAH 2, MEMORIAL 1 – The Tigers took the lead early, scoring two runs in the first inning off of hits by Houston Glad and Marcus Cordle. Tahlequah’s pitching helped secure the win with Houston Glad pitching six innings and recording nine strikeouts. Tahlequah (1-1) will host Memorial today.

VIAN 10, CAMERON 2 – The Wolverines won in dominating fashion on a six inning rule thanks to Denver Coffee with two scored runs, A.J. Rodriguez with two RBIs and two scored runs, and Josh Cowart with one run and two RBIs. John Andrew pitched six innings, giving up one earned run on four hits and recording 10 strikeouts. Vian (1-0) will host Hulbert today.

STIGLER 10, SPIRO 0 – Stigler won in five at home in their season opener. Seth Sandlin went 3-for-3 with two doubles, one single, and three RBIs. Austin Drewry pitched three innings, giving up zero runs and one hit, and Wade Henderson closed it out with no runs and no hits. Stigler (1-0) will host Talihina today.

PORUM SWEEPS WEBBERS FALLS – The Panthers won both games, 4-1 and 7-3, over Webbers Falls. Porum (2-0) will play at Braggs Friday. Webbers Falls (0-2) will host Warner today.

CATOOSA 7, WAGONER 2 – The Bulldogs lost their season opener on the road. For Wagoner, Grant Brown had two hits, Tyler Milligan had two hits, and Chancey Scott had an RBI single. The losing pitcher was Wyat Grooms. Wagoner (0-1) will play at Fort Gibson today.
