NSU MEN SiXTH — The RiverHawks shot 296 and  improved on their first round by three strokes, but they slipped a spot to land at 19-over-par 595 (299-296) at th eDave Falconer Memorial at Russellville, Ark.

Henderson State won the tournament after carding a 4-over 580 (287-293), and Southwestern Oklahoma State was second at 10-over 586 (294-292).

Freshman Marc Johnson fired a 1-under 71 in the final round to vault 13 spots and land in the top 10. He finished at 3-over 147 (76-71). Junior Brad Hager shot a second-straight 74 to finish at 4-over 148 and remain in a tie for 18th.

NSU WOMEN FIFTH —  Central Oklahoma was the highest MIAA team finisher at the UCO Kickingbird Classic. The Bronchos finished fourth overall shooting a 625 coming in 10 strokes ahead of fifth place Northeastern State who finished with a 635 over the two days.

Northeastern State’s Baylee Price shot a 154 to tie for seventh and Sofia Castiello was one stroke behind her to tie for ninth.
