COLUMN: NFR notable to host clinic in Inola

A Womens Retreat Cowboy Gathern’ with three-time National Finals Rodeo qualifier Tana Poppino is being held Saturday and Sunday in Inola. This clinic is $25  to watch or $100  to ride your horse. Contact Diana Shoop at (918) 373-3386.

Hamilton Sports Arena in Vian is going to have a mini-series with $500 added money at the April 4 finals. This series starts Friday and you must run twice in March to qualify for the finals. Lightning C Arena in McAlester is having a $1,000-added money benefit barrel race  Saturday. Exhibitions start at 11 a.m., race at 1 p.m. PeeWee entry fee is $15, youth is $25 and open is $35 plus a $5 building fee per rider. Rangeline Arena in Warner will have team roping practice from 6-7:30 tonight with roping at 8. Ranch sorting practice is 6-9 p.m. Friday and Sunday will see a buckle roping with no prize fee!
