— NSU SPLITS TWIN BILL – Northeastern State earned a split in its doubleheader against Minnesota-Duluth on Wednesday, taking the nightcap 3-1 after dropping the opener 9-3.

Muskogee grad Laura Fleck (4-1) got the win in the second game for the RiverHawks (20-8), striking out six while walking none. Former Lady Rougher Madison Reed scored a run in each game to increase her team-leading total to 28 on the season.

TULSA 8, BRADLEY 2 – Former Tahlequah Lady Tiger Erica Sampson was 2-for-4 with one RBI, her team-leading 21st of the year, while Haskell grad Jodi Edmiston was 1 for-3 with one run scored at the Golden Hurricane beat Bradley on Wednesday.

ARKANSAS 4, MEMPHIS 0 – Behind a complete-game shutout from Kasey Fagan and three-run homer off the bat of Devon Wallace, Arkansas posted a shutout over Memphis on Wednesday in Sherwood, Ark. With the victory, the Razorbacks improve to 21-8 on the season.
