OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — State health officials have confirmed five more cases of swine flu in Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma State Department of Health reported on its Web site that there were 57 cases of swine flu in the state as of yesterday.

The health department says most of the people who became ill were able to recover at home, but three had to be hospitalized with underlying medical conditions.

Officials at Altus Air Force Base say that one of the recent cases confirmed in the state occurred at the southwestern Oklahoma base.

That case, in an adult female, was the first reported in Jackson County.
