Powerball winners in state claim $2 million

OKLAHOMA CITY — Winners of a $2 million Powerball ticket in Oklahoma have come forward to claim their prize.

Joy McBride and Judy Leyrer of Oklahoma City claimed the prize Friday. The two friends used the Easy Pick option to select their winning numbers.

They matched five white balls, resulting in a $1 million prize. They also added the Power Play option for an extra dollar to increase their prize to $2 million. The winning ticket was purchased in Oklahoma City.

Since its launch, the Oklahoma Lottery has had four Powerball jackpot winners and this prize is the 31st prize of $1 million or more.

Lottery officials are still looking for the winner of the $2 million Powerball ticket from the July 31 drawing. That winning ticket was purchased in Ada.
