More winter weather coming

NORMAN (AP) — More winter weather is headed to Oklahoma.

The National Weather Service says three waves of cold weather will sweep across the state over this week.

The first will bring rain and freezing rain to eastern Oklahoma, with snow is possible in the southeastern corner of the state.

The second wave will hit the state late Monday and Tuesday, bringing snow to northern Oklahoma and rain to the southeast. Temperatures will be frigid. Wednesday is forecast to be one of the coldest days of the season with lows in the teens and single digits.

A final cold wave will enter the state Thursday or Friday, bringing a new chance of snow.
