Teen held in killing of Norman man

NORMAN (AP) — Police say a 17-year-old boy has been arrested in the shooting death of a man at an apartment complex.

Capt. Tom Easley said Saturday that the boy was arrested Friday on first-degree murder and burglary complaints in the Sept. 14 shooting death of Nicholas Williams.

Easley said the teenager is being held in the Cleveland County jail and is expected to be charged as an adult this week.

Easley said the boy lived in the apartment complex and that investigators believe he was burglarizing Williams’ apartment.
