Deputy killed in collision

— CORN (AP) — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a Washita County deputy sheriff has been killed in a two-vehicle collision near Corn.

A report on the crash says Deputy Douglas Leon Hanna, 44, died in the crash on Oklahoma 54-A about 12:10 a.m. Sunday.

The report says Hanna was responding to a call when the truck he was driving was hit in the passenger side by another truck that had run a stop sign. The driver of the second truck was treated and released at a Weatherford hospital.

The nature of the call Hanna was responding to was not released.
