Fallin to help announce OSU education initiative

STILLWATER (AP) — Gov. Mary Fallin will be in Stillwater to join Oklahoma State University President Burns Hargis in announcing an education initiative.

Fallin and Hargis are to announce the start of OSUTeach during a news conference Monday morning on the OSU campus.

OSU was selected in February as a partner for the program that was created to attract science and math majors into teaching careers. The program is a collaboration between the OSU College of Education and the OSU College of Arts and Sciences.
