8 arrested after fights at OKC high school

— OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Police arrested eight students following a series of fights at Oklahoma Centennial Mid-High School in Oklahoma City.

School district spokeswoman Tierney Tinnin said the fights began throughout the school about 11 a.m. Thursday and that all the students involved were arrested.

Tinning said there were no injuries and school officials were trying to determine the cause of the fights.

The school was locked down for the remainder of the day.
