Four quakes over weekend

SPENCER (AP) — The U.S. Geological Survey has recorded a 3.1 magnitude earthquake near Spencer in central Oklahoma.

The USGS reports the tremor was recorded at 12:27 a.m. Sunday about four miles north of Spencer, about 11 miles northeast of Oklahoma City. No injuries or damage were reported.

The quake is the fourth recorded during the weekend, including an estimated 4.5 magnitude quake that struck shortly after noon on Saturday near Arcadia. A 2.8 magnitude quake was recorded at 1:26 p.m. and a 3.1 magnitude tremor was recorded at 5:58 p.m. Saturday in the same region.

No injuries or damage were reported from any of the quakes.
