SPRING PIANO RECITAL, featuring the students of Nedda Horvath, 2 p.m. Saturday, 2110 S. 70th Street East. Seven of the students received a superior rating at the Oklahoma Music Teachers Association District Achievement competition. Those performing are Gracie Gibson, Wyatt Watson, Jessie Gibson, Haley Gibson, Adarra Willis, Jacob Burley, Lindsay Gibson, Aaron Abraham, Catherine Durr and Rose Durr. Refreshments will follow their performances.
VOICE AND PIANO RECITAL, featuring the students of Michael Dunn, 2 p.m. Saturday, St. Paul United Methodist Church, 2130 W. Okmulgee Ave. Students performing are: Brady Allen, Shawn Allen, Lindsay Butler, Brendan Crotty, Erin Crotty, Matt Denton, Lizzie DePriest, Dubai England, Leah Eubanks, Janelle Feldman, Colten Fitzgerald, Bethany George, Noah Holden, Sheila Holden, Destany Howard, Makenna Hukill, Christopher Jenkins, Victoria Lewis, Lance Lienhart, Jeran McGill, Jericha McGill, Shelby Mickelson, Tori Payne, Colton Pruitt, Madison Riddle, Adrien Rutherford and Brandon Wolfleg. The recital is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served following the program.
WORKING ON THE RAILROAD CONCERT, 7:30 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame, with Les Gilliam and his five-piece band presenting a tribute to America’s railroad songs made famous by Gene Autry, Roger Miller, Merle Haggard, Roy Acuff and more.
