SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE, sponsored by Partners in Education, BancFirst, today to Aug. 15, to benefit Muskogee area students. Supplies and monetary donations may be brought to any of BancFirst’s three locations: 2400 Old Shawnee Road, 3601 W. Okmulgee Ave., or Arrowhead Mall. School supply lists will be available at each location.
INDIAN TACO SALE, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today, All Nations Mission Center, 1530 W. Smith Ferry Road. This will be a fundraiser to help with expenses for Indian Falls Creek. Cost: $5 for a taco and drink.
HILLDALE VARSITY CHEERLEADERS RUNT’S FUNDRAISER, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Runt’s Bar-B-Q. You will receive a chopped beef sandwich, fries, drink and dessert for $5.
ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT INDIAN TACO DINNER AND GARAGE SALE CLEAN OUT, 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 1, Hillcrest Free Will Baptist Church, 909 N. East 11th St., Wagoner. Menu: Indian tacos made from scratch, desert and drink. Cost: $5, adults; and $2.50, children 10 and under. Everything is free in the garage sale room. ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT BREAKFAST, 7 to 10 a.m. Aug. 2, first Saturday, VFW Post 474, 3811 W. Okmulgee Ave. Cost: $4, adults; $3, children under 12. Menu: Pancakes, sausage, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, coffee or juice. Proceeds benefit the comfort items for the VA Medical Center veterans and families.
THREE FORKS HARBOR MUD VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT, 8 to 10 a.m. Aug. 2, Three Forks Harbor River Center. Team entry is $250 for a team of eight. ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT DAV BENEFIT BREAKFAST, 7 to 10 a.m. Aug. 16, third Saturdays, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 7, 4815 W. Okmulgee Ave. Cost: $4, adults; $2, children under 12. Menu: eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, buckwheat pancakes, coffee, milk and juice. Proceeds directly support local Disabled American Veterans and their families.
POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENT TRIATHLON, 9 a.m. Aug. 16, Muskogee Swim and Fitness. This is a fundraiser for both Kids’ Space and Muskogee Swim and Fitness. Free to attend. T-shirts will be on sale, free lunch. Proceeds from contestant entry fees, T-shirts and donations will be divided between the two groups. Information: Hillary McQueen, 682-4204.
BLUE STAR MOTHERS CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT, 11 a.m. Sept. 8., Muskogee Country Club. Four-man scramble, win a new pick up truck for hole in one. Based on number of team entries: First place team prize $500. Second place team $250 and third place team $100. Lunch and golf shirt, provided. Players and sponsors wanted.
