HAUNTED CASTLE HALLOWEEN FESTIVAL, 6 to 10 p.m. weekends in October, The Castle of Muskogee, 3400 Fern Mountain Road. Nine different haunts in one location. From the scary to the non-scary. FALL HARVEST FESTIVAL at Farmers’ Market, 8 a.m. to noon Oct. 3, Muskogee Civic Center Market Square, Fourth Street and Okmulgee Avenue. Oklahoma-grown fresh produce, plants, herbs, flowers and bakery goods are offered on Saturdays and Wednesdays. Information: Doug Walton, 686-6939.
PAWS ANIMAL FEST, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 24, Honor Heights Park. Pet contests include: Best trick, best tail wagger, cutest (costumes allowed), most unusual pet (you can describe or show why your pet is unusual). Police dog demonstrations, animal information, PAWS merchandise, concessions, door prizes. All pets on leash and vaccinated. Volunteers needed and anyone interested in having a booth at Animal Fest is asked to call 686-7297 or 682-7326.
