CAR WASH AND BAKE SALE, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 29, AutoZone. Proceeds go to purchase socks, bows and pink accessories for all Muskogee Youth Cheer Teams for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

MURROW INDIAN HOME BENEFIT POW-WOW, 2 p.m. June 29, Bacone College Palmer Center. Contest dancing will take place after Grand Entry and will consist of the following categories; Men’s Combined, Women’s Combined, and Tiny Tots. All contestants must be in the Grand Entry. Everyone in attendance will have an opportunity to participate in raffles, cake walks, 50/50, or put their bids in on the Silent Auction items. The Silent Auction will consist of traditional, handmade American Indian arts/crafts, gift certificates, gift baskets and more. Information: Betty Martin, (918) 682-2586.

ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT DAY BENEFIT BREAKFAST, 7 to 10 a.m., third Saturday of the month, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 7, 4815 W. Okmulgee Ave. Cost: $5, adults; $2, children under 12. Menu: Eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, pancakes, coffee, milk and juice. Proceeds directly support local Disabled American Veterans and their families.
