THINGS TO DO — Festivals

FALL HARVEST FESTIVAL at the Muskogee Farmers Market, 8 a.m. to noon Oct. 12, Muskogee Civic Center under the covered pavilions. Rain or shine. Free trees from the Muskogee Parks and Recreation Department, demonstrations and 10:30 a.m. performance from Glad Wags dog performance team. Also, giveaways of a large pumpkin and other products from the market, live music and lots of handmade crafts, pet treats, ready-to-eat foods and fresh-picked locally-grown produce.

HAUNTED CASTLE HALLOWEEN FESTIVAL, 6 to 10 p.m. Oct. 11-12, 18-19, 25-26, 31 and Nov. 1-2, The Castle of Muskogee. Features fun and activities for all ages. Parking and admission to Halloween Village is free. Tickets for various events range from $2 to $15. Information: www.okcastle.com.

TRAIL OF TERROR, weekends through October, Mar-Val Family Camping Resort, two miles north of Gore off Oklahoma 100. Events for children and scary events for others. The Trail of Terror starts at 8 p.m. and costs $10. Information: (918) 489-2295 or marvalresort.com.

FROST ON THE PUMPKIN FESTIVAL, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 8, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 9, First United Methodist Church. Arts, Crafts, and Vintage Show. Free admission, lunch and snacks for sale for fundraiser for youth group. Booths available. Information: (918) 869-6210.
