— “RENT” AUDITIONS, 2 p.m. June 1 and 7 p.m. June 2, Muskogee Little Theatre. Cast calls for 5 males and 3 females plus 10-15 other/chorus roles. Prepare a 1 to 2 minute song that best demonstrates your vocal range, showcases your vocal quality and ability to stay on pitch. Set in the East Village of New York City, “Rent” is about falling in love, finding your voice, and living for today. “Rent” has become a pop cultural phenomenon with songs that rock and a story that resonates with audiences of all ages. SUMMER THEATER CAMP, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. June 3-7, Eufaula Elementary School Complex. Hosted by the Eufaula Area Arts Council. Students do not need to be from Eufaula to enroll. “NANYEHI-BELOVED WOMAN OF THE CHEROKEE” AUDITIONS, 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m. June 14 and 15, Council Chambers, Cherokee Nation Complex, 17675 S. Muskogee Ave., Tahlequah. Callbacks will be June 16. Show dates will be Aug. 27, 30 and 31 at Northeastern State University’s Center for the Performing Arts. NSU and the Cherokee Nation will host the Oklahoma premiere as part of the college’s Galaxy of Stars series, as well as the Cherokee National Holiday. The musical chronicles the life of Nancy Ward, a Cherokee War Woman in the 1700s-1800s, who was revered as a peacemaker during the American Revolution.
