MUSKOGEE FARMERS’ MARKET, 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesdays through October, Muskogee Civic Center. Local growers will offer a wide variety of vegetables, herbs and garden plants; plus eggs, grass-fed beef, tamales, burritos and hot dogs. Other vendors will have hand-made crafts, candles, soaps, natural body care products, pet treats and more, and new at the market this year will be fresh-brewed coffee, yogurt parfaits and homemade granola from The Bite.

TRADER DAYS, second Saturday of each month, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Semore Park, Wagoner. Participants can buy/sell anything except animals, fowl, guns, weapons or alcohol. No entry fee. RIVER CITY PLAYERS, 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday, Saturday and 2 p.m. Saturday, through Aug. 3, NSU Playhouse, Tahlequah. The lineup: Thursdays, We Love the 80s; Fridays, Guitars and Cadillacs; Saturday afternoons, At the Hop; Saturday evenings, We Love the 80s. BACK TO SCHOOL, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Ark of Faith, 401 E. Broadway. You must get a referral from First Baptist  Church Community Center, 8th and Broadway.You must be a resident  of Muskogee County and have an urgent financial need for food and/or clothing. You will need: picture ID, Soc. Sec. Card for all members of the household, verification of residence (ex. Utility bill, or printed document dated last 30 days). No post office box numbers accepted.

ORIENTAL LODGE #430 meets at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays.

VETERANS JOB CLUB, fourth Wednesday of each month, 10 a.m., Muskogee Workforce Office.

HISTORIC NEIGHBORHOOD WALKING TOUR, 9 a.m. Aug. 16, Beckman Park, 16th and Court Street. Explore “Silk Stocking Lane” through the Founders’ Place and Kendall Place Historic Districts. Cost: $5 per person (cash only). Wear comfortable shoes. More information at www.okieheritage.com.

RIVER RUMBA AND CARDBOARD BOAT REGATTA, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 24, Three Forks Harbor. Muskogee Parks and Recreation office is the distribution center for cardboard. You can pick cardboard up from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 837 E. Okmulgee Ave. Cost to enter Regatta is $50 per boat. Parade of Boats and Harbor Party will take place from 6:30 to 10 p.m. August 23.

QUILTS BY THE LAKE, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 31, North Fork Baptist Church, Eufaula. Showcasing the quilting of Myrtle Allen. There will be a quilt display, vendors, tea room, boutique, door prizes, demonstrations, wearable art and a donation quilt.
