ART CLASSES, 6 to 8:30 p.m. second and fourth Monday of the month, Art Guild, 315 Court St. Classes will vary each week and will be listed under the “Classes” section of Things to Do. Suggestions for classes, contact Polly Moore at (918) 453-3244 or Cyndie Lechlider at (918) 230-9947.

FINE ARTS GALLERY, Muskogee Art Guild, 315 Court St. Framed works are all for sale and the building is open to the public every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The work is changed out every two months to give more members a chance to display work. Member-created jewelry and sculpture also is displayed.

MUSKOGEE AREA QUILT GUILD has quilts and other quilted items on display through March at the Muskogee Public Library.

OPEN STUDIO, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Muskogee Art Guild, 315 Court St. Artists who are 16 or older who want to create and enjoy the company of other artists are welcome. There is no charge. Bring your own supplies and projects. Instruction is available to beginners.

THE GALLERY DOWNTOWN, 212 S. Main. Art Gallery featuring artists from Oklahoma. The Gallery has hanging art in water color, acrylics, oils, pencil and photography as well as 3D art works in bronze, wood, hand-blown glass, jewelry in both sterling silver and bead works. Open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.

THREE RIVERS PHOTO CLUB meets at 6:30 p.m. on the first and third Mondays of every month at 315 Court Street in Muskogee. The club has competitions the first Monday of every month from beginners to experts at photography. The third Monday is for classes and instruction. Learn your camera and composition. INTRODUCTION TO ACRYLICS, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays through March 27, Muskogee Art Guild. Class is an introduction to acrylic painting and taught by Deloras Frederick. Cost: $79. Information: Carolyn Trimble, (918) 348-9641 or camberwellcat@gmail.com.

YOUTH ART SHOW AND SALE, March 21 and 22, The Gallery Downtown. All students from fourth to 12th grade will be allowed to enter, with a limit of three pieces. Art will be accepted in the following categories: Hanging art in pencil, water color, oil, acrylic and photography; 3D art in bronze, soap stone, wood and jewelry. Students must register for the show by March 15 and deliver their works to The Gallery Downtown between 4 and 8 p.m. March 17. There will be no charge for entering or for selling art. MUSKOGEE ART GUILD JUDGED ART SHOW AND SALE, April 5 through 12, Arrowhead Mall. The event is open to the public. If interested in having an exhibit, a pre-registration form must be received at the Guild no later than March 20. Cost: $15 per item for members, $20 per item for non-members. Categories: Oil/acrlyic on canvas; canvas board; masonite or wood; watercolor/acrylic on paper; drawing — pastels, charcoal, pencil, pen and ink or monoprints; mixed media; photography and three-dimensional free standing art.
