ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT DAV BENEFIT BREAKFAST, 7 to 10 a.m., third Saturday of the month, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 7, 4815 W. Okmulgee Ave. Cost: $5, adults; $2, children under 12. Menu: Eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, pancakes, coffee, milk and juice. Proceeds directly support local Disabled American Veterans and their families.

FLAPJACK FUNDRAISER, 7 to 10 a.m. Oct. 6, Applebee’s, 415 W. Shawnee. Cost: $7. The Muskogee County Lions will use money raised from the breakfast to help fund the Oklahoma School for the Blind 4-H Club. State Sen. Earl Garrison, D-Muskogee; State Rep. Jerry McPeak, D-Warner; State House District 14 candidate Arthur Hulbert; and Northeastern State University-Muskogee Dean Tim McElroy, among others, will be “celebrity servers.”

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS ANNUAL GARAGE SALE, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 12 and 7 a.m. to noon Oct. 13, St. Joseph Catholic Church. Donations can be dropped off from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 10-11. Information: (918) 687-1351.
