— COAT DRIVE, Dec. 2-12. Octagon International Club at Muskogee High School sponsoring its annual coat drive. Donors can bring coats to the school, 3200 E. Shawnee Bypass, or can call (918) 684-3750 to arrange a pickup for large donations. Information: (918) 684-3750.

A TASTE OF THE HOLIDAYS, 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 7, Muskogee Civic Center. Tables of crafts, food and drinks. Sampler kits, $5. Proceeds go to HOPE Kids Outreach.

SPAGHETI DINNER AND MORE, noon to 3 p.m. Dec. 8, Muscogee Indian Community Center, 335 N. Fourth St. Cost: $5 for adults and $3 for children, tickets available at the door. Proceeds will go to Delta Sigma Theta chapter projects and its scholarship fund.

8TH ANNUAL GARDEN OF LIGHTS 5K AND FUN RUN, 4:30 p.m. Dec. 14, Honor Heights Park. Cost: $25. Proceeds benefit Honor Heights Park and veterans seen at the Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center.

ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT BREAKFAST, 7-10 a.m., first Saturday of the month, American Legion Post 20, 201 Railroad and Walnut streets, Fort Gibson. Cost: $5. Information: Tim Smith, (918) 577-8738.

ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT DAY BENEFIT BREAKFAST, 7 to 10 a.m., third Saturday of the month, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 7, 4815 W. Okmulgee Ave. Cost: $5, adults; $2, children under 12. Menu: Eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, pancakes, coffee, milk and juice. Proceeds directly support local Disabled American Veterans and their families.
