THINGS TO DO — Theater 02.08.13

— “A LITTLE MURDER NEVER HURT ANYBODY,” 6:30 p.m. Feb. 15-16 and 22-23 and 1 p.m. Feb. 17 and 24, Armory Municipal Center Auditorium, 100 N. Water Ave., Tahlequah. Written by Ron Bernas, directed by Michelle Widener. Doors open and dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 1 p.m. on Sunday. The play begins one hour after dinner. Patrons attending the show only should arrive at 7:15 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 1:45 p.m. on Sunday. Catering done by Soul Shack. Cost is $25 for dinner and show, $15 for show only. “A FEW GOOD MEN,” Feb. 15-23, Muskogee Little Theatre, 325 Cincinnati. Broadway hit about the trial of two Marines for complicity in the death of a fellow Marine. Show is sponsored by Tim Holder - Family Practice. Advance tickets available Feb. 1 at Soundworld, 123 E. Okmulgee, (918) 683-4901. All productions at Muskogee Little Theatre are produced with the assistance of the Oklahoma Arts.

“THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST” AUDITIONS, 7 p.m. Feb 18-19, St. Basil Episcopal Church, 814 N. Vinita, Tahlequah. “The Importance of Being Earnest” by Oscar Wilde, directed by Sandra Becker and Patsy Clifford. Cast includes five men and four women ages 18 and up. Back stage help and tech persons also needed. Show dates will be April 12-14 and 19-21 at the Armory Municipal Center Auditorium, 100 N. Water St., Tahlequah. “GUYS AND DOLLS,” Muskogee High School’s All-School Musical, 7:30 p.m. Feb. 21-23 and 2 p.m. Feb. 23, Muskogee High School Fine Arts Auditorium. Guys and Dolls follows the exploits of two 1950s gangsters: Sky Masterson (Seth Chapius) as he tries to win the affections of religious missionary Sarah Brown (Katie Matthews); and Nathan Detroit (Laurel Havens III), as he searches for a secret location to hold a crap game unbeknownst to his fiancé of 14 years Miss Adelaide (Makenna Hukill) . A happy, but unexpected ending is in store for both men thanks to Abe Burrows and Jo Swerling’s  book and Frank Loesser’s amazing which includes, “Luck Be a Lady,” “Sit Down You’re Rocking the Boat,” and the theme song “Guys and Dolls.” Tickets can be purchased at the door.
