— BLACKGUM COMMUNITY CENTER SALE, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 11 and 12, Blackgum Community Center. There are still a variety of items left, including furniture, Christmas decorations, beds, televisions, linens, dishes,cookware, odds and ends, clothing and more. All money raised is used to support the center.

BENEFIT AND RAFFLE, 6 p.m. Oct. 12, Crescent Valley Opry, Tahlequah. Live music, food and the raffle prize is a trip to Branson. Door prizes available. The event is a benefit for Art Corbett.

BEAN SUPPER/SILENT AUCTION, 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 17, First United Methodist Church, 800 E. Okmulgee. Entertainment provided by Jace Smith’s balloon animals and the Glad Wags Dog Performance Team. Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the door. Proceeds benefit Coins 4 Critters. Information: (918) 682-3858.

FLAPJACK FUNDRAISER, 7 to 10 a.m. Oct. 19, Applebee’s, 415 W. Shawnee Bypass. All proceeds raised will benefit the Hilldale color guard team to purchase new uniforms for the team members. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door or by calling (918) 577-0395.

ZOMBIE BOLT TULSA 5K TERROR RUN, 6 p.m. Oct. 19, Moore’s Flying M Ranch, 20707 E. 540 Rd., Inola. Participants have the opportunity to be a mortal runner, or three different types of zombies, but Zombie space is limited for each. Proceeds benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. NAME THAT TUNE CHALLENGE, 5:30 p.m. Oct. 24, Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame, Third and Elgin streets. Team of eight is $500 or $65 each. Cost includes dinner, drinks, dessert auction and one mulligan. ROUGHER RESTAURANT CRAWL, 6 to 9 p.m. Nov. 14. Event proceeds benefit the Junior Achievement program in Muskogee. The first stop is at St. Joseph Catholic Church for appetizers by Muskogee’s Momma C, Cassandra Gaines, the second stop will be Jimmy’s Egg for entree, and Dessert Girl’s Bakery Cafe for dessert. The event will start at the NSU Muskogee Campus East parking, where transportation will be provided. Tickets are $25 and limited to 50 and can be purchased at Armstrong Bank, 1215 W. Okmulgee Ave.

ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT DAY BENEFIT BREAKFAST, 7 to 10 a.m., third Saturday of the month, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 7, 4815 W. Okmulgee Ave. Cost: $5, adults; $2, children under 12. Menu: Eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, pancakes, coffee, milk and juice. Proceeds directly support local Disabled American Veterans and their families.
